Do you really Kaepernick would be that much of an improvement? Yes he played well in the second half of the season last year, but fact remains that this is a dude who got benched in favor of Blaine Gabbert.

Part of it was I believe if he was injured before a specific time frame, he had future money guaranteed. I could be wrong. Even still, 16td's to 4 INT's on that horrible team last year, he's a huge upgrade over what Green Bay, Houston, and a few other teams are rolling out.

Bortles has thrown a higher ratio of INTs to TDs in his career so far.
And considering he has a smaller sample size that ain't good.
