Despite claims that the full Disney library would be available, Disney has now announced they will be omitting “Song of the South” completely, as well as editing out the Jim Crow scenes from “Dumbo”.
The first half doesn't really match the second half of that sentence. Is this a concern?
Oh! Uncut.
Your post didn't include that part, so I wasn't making the connection.
Was wondering if they were going to castrate Splash Mountain at Disneyland... Didn't realize the bees were built in place of the "tar baby"
Disney has assumed full control of Hulu effective immediately. Presently Disney retains a 66% ownership stake while NBCU/Comcast owns 34%. By 2024, NBCU content will be cycled out and NBCU will be required to sell its ownership either back to Disney or a third party for fair market value at the time.
Why does Disney need multiple streaming services lol
So does that mean NBC/Comcast is gonna be launching their own streaming service here soon too?
(Unless they already have one, hard to keep track of these days)
And Disney will obviously try to double dip on people by only offering certain shows/movies on one platform and not the other to try to force people to subscribe to both.
As of now they don’t but I wouldn’t be shocked if they do something akin to CBS All Access.
Yeah, NBC signed new rights agreements basically lowering the royalties for shows that will be on both Hulu and their own streaming service, which I think NBC is aiming for 2020.

Due to some legal mumbo jumbo, only four MCU films will be available on the platform at launch on November 12. More will be added over time, but at launch the only MCU films available will be
Iron Man
Iron Man 3
Thor: Dark World
Captain Marvel
Woof.
That's terrible. What happened to Endgame lol
