Turned my pc on today and it locks up every minute or so- I looked at the task manager and the HDD C: is 100% active and my ssd is at 0.
I've tried everything google suggested and it definitely wasnt doing this yesterday. any ideas?

Open up Resource Monitor and see what's thrashing the hdd. It's the disk tab, click on disk activity (or at least make sure it's showing processes), sort by writing or reading (whichever is worse), and look at what/where is being thrashed (it can show file and process names). You haven't really given enough info otherwise.
