    but, they just lost a US Senate seat for 3 years and their 2 seat majority now becomes a 1 seat majority. the difficulties they have had passing any legislation of note are well-documented, and will now be intensified. and though the Senate map in 2018 is still deeply unfavorable to Democrats it is now significantly more plausible they retake the Senate, along with the House.

    there was no winning running someone like Roy Moore. winning with an immoral unethical evil individual was losing in a place anyone in your party could win, losing is losing in a place anyone else in your party would have won.
