I have to say now that my son is 5 (almost 6) and loves Star Wars and Legos this Christmas was a win for us. Building legos with him is so much fun. Usually I don't get big gifts but my wife got me a new 40" Samsung LED tv for our bedroom since we just finished expanding our bedroom and the older tv was too small (I have eye issues so it is hard to see). I also got the Locke and Key box set graphic novel series written by Stephen King's son. Also got money to go towards paying for a workshop on rock carving.

Fun holiday and not too excessive either. Just the way I like it. My youngest is going to be 1 year old in a couple days and I loved how into the holiday he was. Actually played with his new toys instead of the packaging!

Oh man I have been working on convincing my wife to let me get some of the larger sets. I really want the Star Destroyer, Millennium Falcon, and the At-At sets. So far she hasn't let me get any of the larger "collector" sets. The best so far is the $60 x-wing which is still pretty sweet.

i am hoping my parents got me one of the bigger sets, but i suspect my house is gonna be my gift this year.

So little late since we didn't actually celebrate christmas with the family until New Years. Astylla already posted what we gave

Received for me: Echo Dot, Bose Bluetooth Speaker, some new work shirts, one of the sequel books to Pillars of the Earth by Ken Follet (I want to say A Column of Fire), and a 50 dollar amazon gift card. Astylla got one of those essence defusers that doubles as a humidifier, a Pixar 7qt Slow Cooker to replace our 5qt one, and I think some other smaller stuff as well. So all in all a nice relaxing holiday.
