I don't think a few years of Fisher would help anyone. Maybe if they want to ruin Trubisky's chances.

They should find a offensive HC or OC with a strong record developing QBs since Trubisky's development is crucial

Kyle Orton put up his best statistical year under McDaniels that year. I think that's what they're really looking to do is improve Trubisky. That would be my focus anyway.

He is still highly regarded in the league, but prefers to OC in New England over taking just any HC job

being highly regarded in the league really doesn't mean anything to me and it shouldn't mean anything to you or anyone else. these are the same people that keep hiring jeff fisher and john fox and hue jackson and marvin lewis and jason garrett and jon gruden

Coaching in any sport has long been an exciting clusterfuck of nepotism and cronyism.

You are correct - there are plenty of dumb decision makers in front offices across the league.

I was commenting on your point that "he would have been scooped up by now" - teams have tried, but he has a sweet setup in New England.

His first coaching stint didn't go well but he also didn't even get to complete two seasons. I think it would be shortsighted to write him off based on run-ins with Cutler and BMarsh who are hardly shining beacons of teamwork

With so many teams looking, there's probably slim pickings out there

ok i see your point about why he'll get another shot. also Bmarsh had elite numbers with Kyle Orton throwing to him and is probably the reason they won 8 games that year and also the only reason Josh McDaniels lives to see a second year the Bmarsh Giveth the Bmarsh taketh away.

    This is true.

Unrelated but peeps should really play pigskin pick em against the spread with us next year. We only had like 7 people playing but it's nice to convince yourself you're a sharp
