Yeah I'm farming the heck out of black and power crystals/orbs for the immediate future. Fri and saturday's orbs are going to be ignored for now. Can't wait for 20 stam magicites.

Ulti is pretty good imo: Black 5*, Summon 5*, White 5*, Witch 5*, Darkness 5*. Meltdown, Tornado, Tiamat access... possibly more with the 6* summon and black magic coming eventually.
Although that's an even bigger blow to Instructor Trepe, she really only has Wrath going for her at this point

Well, and a good burst and osb that essentially only hit a weakness but are outdated in terms of imperil, chain, or party buffs.

Yep. Also Dualcast Wind on her Dive, Black and Summon damage passives, Enwind LMR for speedruns, her BSB is pretty much the magic wind version of Squall... if it wasn't for the OSB she'd be a top tier wind mage with a proper USB but I guess she'll do for now. Fujin has some fierce competition but she still has utility on her side while Ulti is pure damage.

I’m trying to get better hones for my smn abilities since they’re rather easy to run out of. Home up Odin or madeen? Madeen interferes with my other hones I’m stocking up for the least,
but Odin has breaks attached to it. I have hope with both bsb if that matters.

Madeen, Odin provides minor Wall Break (25% iirc), which is NOT worth making/honing since you can craft the Wall Break dance that does it at 50%. Plus Madeen is more hits/DMG.

Not sure if it'd be worth diving hope for it but madeen is the only way to hit holy weak with mag so it has some general usefulness even at only 3 hits. That said being only 3 hits caps its max damage kind of low...
Odin is almost certainly not worth even with the wall break.

Madeen is the only thing that makes Hope worth a dive, he can't use anything else other than BSB commands with his MAG and he gets Dualcast Holy. Another Holy Summoner coming up is Rem but she's mainly an offensive White Mage although limited to basicaly Holy until the following Type-0 event which introduces Diada so if you're gonna use her for the next 2-3 months Madeen is a must on her anyway (for damage).

He could osb spam in theory I guess? The point is really that hope is an awful dive.

Well yeah, but it's an awful dive because he doesn't have any holy based spells to cast outside of his BSB commands (and now Madeen) and he doesn't have a Raines BSB.

On a sort of related side note, I've been thinking about diving a dualcast summoner for niche mage elements. They can theoretically hit any element but the hit limitation is pretty bad. Not sure if I'll cap damage on 4 stars though without a chain.
