There was an entire episode of some roller coaster "How they built it" kind of show about this water slide. I was fucking shocked as I watched it...bunch of dumbasses that napkin "engineered" the whole thing then had to redo it when they ran a test sled down it and the thing shot off in to space. They were all like "Um, that's not good. I didn't expect that!" When the episode was over I looked at my wife and asked her how long she thought it would take for someone to die. It wasn't long.
Shocking that people are just now figuring it out. I expected there to be an actual inquiry and for this to come to light right away.
This is why I don't like to ride costers/water slides. >.>
I lived nearby that waterslide when it was being built. The requirements to ride it (group of 2-4 people with a tight weight range) should've been enough to tell everyone that the thing was unsafe. The people who allowed it to open are just as guilty as the designers but Kansas city areas let design engineers approve their own work to avoid city engineers' going over the numbers and they make the approval process very drawn out to encourage people to fill out the single sheet of paper to bypass plan review. Its really a joke around here.

A man named "Mad Mike" Hughes launched himself in a self-made rocket 1,875 feet above the desert to try and prove his theory that the world is flat.
Well?? Is it?
Meanwhile, passengers aboard any jetliner are chuckling softly.
That guy is really trying.
I like it.
Really hoping he uses balloons to go past the Armstrong limit without a special suit.
Also in other random news Nickelodeon finally parted ways with full time creep Dan Schnieder.
On the flip side: Suddenly, Utah becomes the most common sense state in the country:

The fact they need to make this a law shows how badly helicopter parenting has become a necessity to make sure your kids aren't taken away.
Let's not get carried away on the praising common sense in Utah just yet. This is a step in the right direction but they still have a ways to go.

Man remember when he violated his probation and escaped to mexico. His probation includes a curfew—he must be at home from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. and is not allowed to drink.
He's still white, with money, right? No surprises here.
I think he's done his time and is totally rehabilitated.
Prob because GameStop was getting sick of people doing that. Losing money and all that really takes a toll on a store, so had to stop doing that. Hey at least Fallout 3: GOTY is like 14 bucks where I'm am so who needs a refund for that game?
I Was once at Sushi King when FOX News came on with the headline "Hillary Says: America is in trouble without her." In my mind, I thought of an alt. universe where it said "Hillary Sayz: America is F*CKED with me, my homies."
I Dunno why but it gave me a chuckle.
