At the time it likely wasn't the number 4 pick. Texans were looking money and a likely playoff team at that point, up until Watson's knee exploded. So it was a matter of late first rounder vs 32/33 pick + Hoyer.

Little did we know the Texans would implode and Jimmy G would tank the value of the Niners pick.

Rumor without a source saying Patricia is the Giants next head coach. Reddit NYG peeps saying the person who put out the rumor is a hack and this is probably false. However, it would be a very Lions thing to lose the coach that was supposedly favored to go there.

That's what many were saying. Even though Patricia isn't proven by himself, him having a relationship with Bob Quinn I'd imagine is important and Detroit has some rising talent on defense. StaffDaddy has a good WR core and the OL was injured practically all of last year. Also, as many said in that thread, NYG has some locker room issues with attitudes. It's thought that's a huge negative for Patricia. I can't recall hearing anything bad about our locker room other than some rumblings which all pointed towards Caldwell.

I would imagine Patricia would take the Giants over almost anyone else considering that's like belechicks dream job and even he would want to go there, so I'm sure there's some push or there's been talk of it between them.
