I dig the simplistic style, feels like they were putting more emphasis on the realism of the characters, but the big deal in graphics they were throwing is the violence effects. NRS haven’t always been the best looking games, but i’m definitely down for this. Just give me Kabal again dammit. Also to follow the story, normal Liu Kang and Kung Lao got me quite interested where they’re going this time around.

Sort of unrelated, but you guys should watch Hi Score Girl on Netflix. The main story is basically growing up in 90s playing SF2 in the arcades lol.

I'll check that one out, but my comment was just in general toward anime. If the genre is "comedy" it is almost always total crap, and the opposite of funny.
