Another good alien horror movie is Extraterrestrial, got taken off Netflix a while back unfortunately.

Annihilation is one of the better sci-fi flicks I've seen in a while. Really enjoyed it. Some of the visuals were a total trip and the journey was well told.

I drew massive parallels to the Descolada virus in the Speaker for the Dead throughout the whole movie. Was cool to see some of what I saw in my head as a kid come to fruition, albeit in a darker tone.

Going to second Hell House. Watched it last year, I think, when I was looking for some horror movies. Was very surprised with it. Definitely got the creepy factor going. It was also supposed to take place where I grew up which was an added bonus.

Dude this scene was hilarious and sad and creepy all at once. Great scene. Colin Ferrell looks dope with a gnarly beard too.

Dude go to Netflix and Search: "Lake Mungo." Basically everything that pops up is good.

Autopsy of Jane Doe is fire. So is The Taking of Deborah Logan. Hush. The Ritual. Gerald's Game. The Invitation. Calibre. Tusk. (Half of those pop up on Netflix when searching Lake Mungo).

There's also Chernobyl Diaries and As Above So Below that are some banger found footage films. As well as my top recommended, Hell House (mentioned above).

Jesus, just saw Tusk last night and I can't recommend it enough. But man that movie is fucking crazy.
