TLBMiSM was weirder than I thought it was going to be. If you liked Sorry to Bother You because it was a strange film about PoC in the bay area under late capitalism, well, we've got another one for you. My wife and I enjoyed it.

The art of self defense. The previews dont do it justice it's at least twice as ridiculous and over the top by the end

    And Nazis.

I saw this film tonight in one of the 70mm screenings. Had a great time watching it. Not my favorite Quentin but still a fun watch.

I just watched Mulholland Drive and Lost Highways back to back, and I have to say Mulholland Drive is the closest thing David Lynch has ever had to a coherent thought, would definitely recommend if you're fine having movies that are open to interpretation.

Watching Lost Highway first helped get me back into a Lynch mindset and that definitely improved my experience.

Alita - If youre a fan of my boy Rodriguez and action flicks, you'll like this one.
Dragged Across Concrete - Mel Gipson is the man, dawg.
Hagazussa - Little dialogue, sold as a horror but it was super boring; couldn't sit through (peeps say it's a spiritual prequel to the Witch, and they were full of shit).
Shadow - From the same director of Hero, if you liked it you'll dig this one.
Brightburn - Y'all know whats about, and it was a good time.

Peanut Butter Flacon! Probably Shia's best performance ever. Just a good fun movie with a lot of heart

So this is the opposite of what this thread is designed for, but I had to put it somewhere.

    Ad Astra is terrible.

Seconding Hagazussa. Watched it a few weeks ago and man is it a slowwww burn. It’s like VVitch but slower and more subtle. A lot of what happens is mostly eluded to instead of explicitly shown but it is pretty damn creepy and it’s very atmospheric.

Late to this but watched "I am Mother" on Netflix and thought it was really good.
Some good plot points and twists too.
