The second to last movie I saw was The Last Jedi, soooo.....

finally saw The Last Jedi and Coco while visiting girlthing. the latter deserves all its accolades as one of Pixar's best (that rendition of La Llorona), the former deserves all possible opprobrium. almost vomited at the 'we're going to win this war not by fighting what we hate but saving what we love' line.

Watched Captain Phillips while donating platelets last weekend. I really enjoyed the movie until the action left the Maersk Alabama, and then it felt like it dragged through the last 45 minutes or so.

New Insidious was ok. If you seen and liked the rest you'll probably like seeing this one. If not take or leave it really

First half was actually good minus the terrible jokes and the terrible attempts to recognize in film how terrible they were. Well and as long as you didn't try to think about the hot chicks getting hit on situation. Was kind of standard after. Really though it's just a triumph not to be terrible opening in January as the 4th film in a horror franchise and for that
