I loved Knives out, A beautiful day in the neighborhood, and I didn't mind Jumanji. I wasn't the biggest fan of Toy Story 4. I felt like 3 was a real conclusion and this was more of a pitstop before three.

My wifes movie suggestions have been put on hold for the next while. After Bliss and last night we watched 2019 "The Room" about a room that makes anything you ask for, cept it turns to dust if you leave the house. They're both not awful like Strangers 2 but they aren't great either and their endings were just odd. Any suggestions on a decent horror movie?

Descent is one of my favorites and on Hulu right now. Actually Hulu has a lot of great movies on there currently.

Not a horror movie but if you haven't watched Sorry to Bother You ,do it.

    Seen all of those.

Watched Guns Akimbo the other night. Fucking amazing movie. Highly recommend.

I’d watch anything that has Samara Weaving in it.

I still find nothing scary about Hereditary or Midsommar, they're both too weird for me.

I watched it with my girls (10 and 12) last weekend. First 1.5 hours were not great. Last 30 minutes, my 10 year old tapped out. I thought it ended really well. Haven't seen midsommar.

None of them are scary in the slightest, but Haunting on Hill House has the best jump-scare of all-time.

They recreate the dog jumping through the window scene in RE:1?

Watched a few recently let’s see.

    Uncut Gems: Great.
Underwater: If you’ve seen one stuck under water movie you’ve seen them all.
    Knives Out: P Dope.
    Guns Akimbo: Decent.
The Way Back: If you’ve seen one sad affleck brother movie you’ve seen them all.
The Platform: Kinda like The Cube with a twist.

Probably up there as one of my favourite childhood movies but as I’ve gotten older. Shores whole way of being has went from “Oh he’s funny” to “How as no one fucking murdered him”. Juryduty. A movie I haven’t seen in over ten years, in my memory was one of the funniest movies. I’m almost scared to reward it.

Was Midsommar even supposed to be scary? Thought was more weird psychological horror/drama. And up until the end Hereditary was pretty much the same but less weird

The scariest thing about Midsommar was the orgy but not an orgy all old lady climaxing thing. Whatever the fuck that shit was.

Watched The Hunt. Interesting and worth it if you liked any of the purge movies. That’s kinda what it reminded me of.
