DCeased relies on Darkseid losing control of the anti-life equation so already we're basing the story on the company's biggest villain being unable to do the thing he's spent thousands of years preparing to do. But ok, let's take that in stride. The rest of what happens is actually fairly well-done and makes sense, until we get to the part where they need to make it ultra double hopeless, so -
Martian Manhunter gets into the Fortress of Solitude undetected despite Cyborg, Luthor, Superman, and the fortress's own defenses all being capable of seeing him no matter how invisible he was. He infects the Flash, and Superman, knowing that the equation spreads by touch, chooses to fly directly into him at super speed rather than fry him with heat vision. An infected Wonder Woman bound in the lasso of truth tells Cyborg he could cure the anti-life infection and the first thing he does is turn away from her INSTEAD OF ASKING THE LOGICAL FOLLOW UP QUESTION, HOW DO I CURE YOU.
And now Resurrection starts with Reed Richards discovering Galactus's corpse - GALACTUS'S CORPSE - and rather then sending a probe or doing a scan or anything else we get "hey, let's get all the strongest Avengers, X-Men, and my own family in one place and jump directly into the mouth of this dead space god." - Reed Richards, smartest man alive. And of not only does Magik ignore using her power to get everyone out of there, but Thor conveniently forgets that Mjolnir can also teleport him anywhere he wants, and for some reason no one thought maintaining contact with the ship they came in on would be a good idea. They also skip right to Magneto being eaten because I'm guessing the writers couldn't figure out any way that could possibly happen so they just skipped it altogether.
Oh, and the woman who makes impenetrable force fields with her brain doesn't put any around her family as they explore the corpse of the most powerful thing they've ever encountered even after discovering that whatever killed it is almost certainly still there.
But now we get past all of that and the infection spreads to Earth, presumably, because the infected ride Galactus to the planet. And not Wakanda, Latveria, or any real life government monitoring the skies sees this coming and blows up the corpse before it can land.
This bothers me just as much those Deadpool and Punisher kill everyone comics.
