Nothing like busting your tail trying to finally clear o7s and constantly being stymied by a poorly performing RDM who kept messing up mechanics. After 3 hours of that nonsense (including a 6% enrage), I finally called them out and I got jumped by the other members for being a 'dick'. Thank you Nayuta Miyumi. Any competent DPS and we would have cleared hours before. People are soooo sensitive to a little criticism.

They could just add them as crafting recipes or just throw them into NPC shops with some stupidly high prices, to make gil have a little more value. Not gonna happen though.

Kind of like the old joke I use to throw around back when I worked in retail. If it makes too much sense, the execs ain't gonna do it.

So~ playing on RDM, the tank is having issues keeping aggro from the healer with those three wall things before the boss. I calculated that if I didn't heal the healer who was at 35%, would die in the next 4 seconds, so I started tossing vercures. Such calculations was made twice in this encounter. I mean.. as a career healer myself, you know how long some one has before they die, if no action is taken..

Anyway, healer tells me not to heal her or help heal because "I got it". I didn't say anything.

Tank dies in the second to the last pull with the cardians, and I say to myself "you got it alright". Then during the boss fight, me and the tank dies. I didn't say anything about not being revived by either the WHM or the SMN.

Earlier had a rather unhappy tank expressing his displeasure with melee DPS trolling him with goad.We had a mnk, and the tank did ask nicely for it, but the mnk only give goad at the start of each boss fight and never during pulls. It was obvious him and the healer were a pair, and I knew a mutual vote kick was coming(I was leader). He goes on about how melee DPS always do(what the mnk was doing) with goad, and sure enough initiated the kick. I just let it go through. We get a SAM, and the tank is raging about goad towards the SAM as soon as he/she spawned in lol... This was a returning player, and said "I don't have goad". I explained where it is, but I guess it fell on deaf ears. *shrugs*

There's no point engaging with folks in DF about anything what so ever.

They really really need to make it possible to kick people midfight. I am so sick and tired of people afk'ing knowing they'll get away with it because there's _always_ someone who won't wait to open the coffer or start the next fight.

I don't think the loot restriction on kicking people still exists...? Please correct me if I'm wrong.

There isn't however if you're quick at your menuing you can basically have the kick window open before the dies and get it going before someone touches the chest.

In my case, having it often activates my WHM instincts which has proven to be a hindrance to my performance as a DPS, I admit. Verraise though is worse as it's basically a "carry-me" skill, making way for people being careless.
