i want a remake of demon souls! having missed it in ps3 days and haven't gotten to play it... would love the chance to do so.
If this funds Bloodborne 2 I'm OK with it.
sploosh, DS1 is still my favorite of the franchise
I wonder if it will only be a graphical update or an update to combat to make it more modern like ds3. I would be fine with either.
It'll probably be a resolution upgrade and nothing else.
I'd be willing to bet that Blighttown will still lag and the game will still run at 30 fps for default.

The press release says upscaled 4K resolution with 60 fps when playing on a ps4 Pro, xbox1x and PC. I doubt it will stay 60 fps while doing anything but hugging a wall at 4K even if it's 'upscaled'. Also maybe jumping will be fixed with 60 fps.
This could very well be my first day 1 purchase in at least 5 years.
Time to revisit my glory days of PVP.
If you find the noob trying to turtle up that's me.
Since this thread is fresh and I'm betting many that have played the entire series will look here, did ya'll struggle to get into 3? I know 2 is what usually gets shitted on, but I actually had more hours into 2 for NG than DS1. I thought 2 was pretty good. 3, I don't know. Something just feels off.
I have the Prepare to Die edition on Steam and never played it, maybe it's finally time.
I still dislike 2 to this day, yet i played it a lot. I think i still have more hours in 1 than i do 3, and i loved 3 until they ruined it with balance changes and enemy nerfs because of stupid ass snowflakes. 1 will forever be the best, and no fucks given, i'll get it on switch, because i wanna fuck people up at anime conventions if adhoc support will work on it. Of course i'll get it on pc, although i've played it at 60fps, and it's not a fun 60fps on pc, game's utterly broken. lol
loved 3, struggled to get into 2 initially but came around with SotFS. still felt great to come home to Miyazaki's ambiance/monster+level design/themes and 3's combat takes enough from Bloodborne to be a noticeable improvement over its predecessors.
would go something like
DS I
DS III
BB
DS II
Demon's
All hail the return of GiantDad!!!
(also holy crap this is 5 years old)
