I think it was accidental and I'm Hawks fan. He probably raised his arms cause he thought he was going to hit him with his elbow and he didn't want to get suspended again for that. He is still a rat faced piece of shit though. Duclair is going to miss 2 weeks not that it matters much. >.>

He left his feet for no reason, raised both arms up, and hit Duclair in the head with both. Maybe, MAYBE he is trying to get his arm over the top of his head to clear his stick but all he did was make the contact 100x worse than it would have been. I doubt he wanted to close line him, but there is 0 reason to jump, or raise your arm like that. He took what should have been a mediocre hit, and turned it into a dangerous hit to the head.

Dunno how they won that game, everything was working against them up until the hilarious goalie interference ruling. A nice win to break the slide though.

I can take or leave the no-goal (although I think it was a goal for sure), but the penalty was just absurd. He did everything he could to avoid hitting Freddy even with Hainsey pushing him into him. If you really don't want the goal to count just call it incidental contact.

That's a pretty shit GI call. Backlund had a pretty fucking absurd GI penalty called against him in the game vs Pittsburgh a few nights ago too. Just mind boggling that this was called a penalty

The best was Trotz saying Orpik "just plays defense", clears the net front and plays PK well. Yet his SA/Danger shots chart shows he doesn't clear the net front for shit and he is awful on the PK. On top of all that, he plays FAR worse in front of Holtby for whatever reason, so he is one of the big reasons Holtby has struggled so badly this year.
