It's a lot that was sent over, yes, but with the salary retention on both sides, Bruins will get a ton of cap space because it. It was good for them to offload half of Beleskey's awful contract. They still have a ton of valuable prospects down the line too.

Also Nash is the equivelant of a 20 goal scorer in the playoffs over his career. Even if he doesnt score he makes life hell for the other team because of his giant ass and defensive ability.


I hope he comes back in July like everyone seems to think he will.

Rychel was probably never making this team and Valiev I haven't seen enough of, but I really don't love giving up a 2nd rounder for the second year in a row for another 4th line center.

Edit: That being said, Matthews - Kadri - Bozak - Plekanec down the middle with the ability to also move Nylander and Marleau to center when needed looks like pretty fucking good Center depth to me.
