From past experience, it's about 60-80% of the hosting costs for the year.

It fluctuates a lot depending on traffic but if I remember correctly 2013 and 2014 were close to $7k/yr.

Now it rarely goes beyond $5k/yr. The ads income is usually proportional to the extra traffic expenses which is enough to keep BG in the black most of the time.

I think a forever ban is 500 or 1000 bucks.
