yeah it makes the elevation harder (tho Andrade lifted her up 3 times no problem) but you're also gonna land on your fucking face if your arms are locked up and you can't rotate in the air or use them to break your fall

I mean... Rose was really fucking committed to trying to block being taken down even after Andrade had already shown she was strong enough to just power thru it.

I don't know if I'd call it a fluke when it was a clear mistake in Rose's game plan to not fully account for just how fucking strong Andrade is.

We saw it before against Joanna and the same thing here, she's clearly outclassed by the top tier of the division, but she's just so strong that given the right situation, this happens.

Yeah. I’d heavily favor Rose in the rematch. While Andrade’s only chance would be some other ridiculous slim chance power shot.

Andrade was marking up Rose's leg p good and having a little more success chasing her down in the 2nd, Rose was slick as hell and picking her apart at range early but a little more and a little more she was having trouble maintaining distance and being forced to stand and trade. if Andrade commits more to body shots and is just a little less hittable think she has a good shot to wear Rose down and come on late in a rematch.

but who knows where the division goes from here we got some brutal MMA math with Joanna > Andrade > Rose > Joanna

Watching the Wilder vs Breazeale card and Mauro made a statement I don’t think I’ve ever heard before.

I’ve always chalked it up to a deeper talent pool at the 122~175 range. Just thought it was an interesting comment.
