Mexicans are so hyped about this that the literal government of Mexico is sponsoring public watch parties for the final two episodes of DBS.
Exclusive streaming rights were issued to thousands of local bars and pubs to hold watch parties as well. Notably, the third largest soccer stadium in Mexico will be playing the episodes on their jumbotron.
Holy shit lol
Yo I gotta boy out there. I'm gonna ask him about this shit and try to get in on it.
Going to the bar with some friends and watching DBS would be sick as fuck. I wish a place around here would do it.
Shit I would probably road trip for it if I had friends coming with me.
Darkest...bestest timeline?

I'd go if I lived in New York.
I live close enough to go.
Mexico is officially the greatest country in the world.
I feel like it's entirely possible to get Trump to say Mexico's Saiyans are a threat to the US.
For real though, is this something new for Mexico to be so big into Dragon Ball? I mean across the country having fans, sure, but the actual government? It's cool but way surprising, if not a little weird.
As far as I know, DBZ has been huge there a long time. I made a friends with the taco truck dude here just talking about DBZ and dude started hooking me up because of it.
Mexico was one of the earliest countries to have it I think, dating as far back as 1990s.
Latin America (I say this because it's basically all of central and south america) has been huge into DBZ and early shonen shows for longer than the US has.
Saint Seiya has been basically religion in Hispanic nations since the early '90s.
I remember my first few VHS subs being in Spanish lol. Mexico or other Latin American countries, they hype has always been real for the Brown fam

The english dub of DBZ originally had to go off the spanish dub for a long time before they eventually heard the JP side and starting working from there.
