Hey rain, how about staying away this time?

What's the situation with Miami for next year? I don't really know the process for bidding to host a race, so I have no idea how far along it is or how strong a chance it has. Would this replace Austin if so?

I doubt it, liberty mentioned they wanted multiple US races at one point. Miami residents around the area are just being dicks. I think it’s the proposed track around the Dolphins stadium, right? Residents last time voted against it due to the noise it’ll create. Hamilton has been wanting the Miami race to be a real thing so hopefully his influence helps. I’m moving to the area next week and will be roughly 20 minutes away from the proposed Miami track, so hopefully i get to vote to have this race go ahead.

I’m 100% all for continuing the proposal, i’m voting yes for sure. I used to live 25-30 minutes from the homestead nascar track, now i’ll be about 1.5 hours away from it, but 20 minutes from the stadium, so getting to this race will be no issue at all if it passes.

I still prefer a natural racetrack than a Tilkedrome, i love Imola as a track, might se some chaos.

Absolutely agree. Who knows? Maybe the DRS detection/zone change here from last year make a difference, though all those extra bumps they put on some of the turns doesn't seem like they'll help the race, and it's probably as likely to cause an incident than prevent one. At worst, if it's just a boring procession the whole way, it's still a nice drive to watch. Not all circuits can offer that.

Ok, I think I lost track of how far back Bottas will be starting since I just was focused on Lando and the Red Bulls. Could be interesting to see how the teams handle those 3 at the top if Bottas doesn't make a move early. Ah, who am I kidding? RB will go for the undercut, but then Lewis will get a safety car to pit during. Also, there's the confirmation. You've got Will Smith in the video but don't use the song? Come on, F1!
