Personally I think they should draft Barkley for his character and effect on team culture as much as his ability, but I think it's defensible to select a more valuable position

Why do you want Allen? I feel like inaccurate guys have the largest bust potential and he doesn't have a strong record statistically

for the browns i pretty much just think with 2 of the top 4 picks they'll be be guaranteed a top QB prospect, so might as well grab a generational RB prospect on top of it. i don't think you can go wrong with any one of rosen/darnold/mayfield/allen (though i do think allen probably has more bust potential).

as far as allen, i thought same things you did (still do), but then i read enough about his interest/passion as a student of the game to sell me. i do believe he actually gives a shit about becoming a lot better so i'm good with that. having actual elite WR talent to throw to will be a big thing for him as well.

i wouldn't at all be disappointed if we went with rosen/darnold, though. also i'd be ecstatic if the team managed to snag cousin and draft barkley or nelson. fwiw i'm super high on nelson, like i almost think if the team had to pick between barkley/nelson they need to pick the latter. he's just so insanely good. if the next year's QB class was strong or if paxton lynch/siemian weren't awful, i'd say nelson at 5 and don't look back.

If Minkah Fitzpatrick had a stronger combine I'd say he's on that tier too but now there are legitimate questions between him and derwin james

yeah it's such a weird year cause the teams at the top of the draft could actually use qb's and there is a very strong crop of them. but the actual best players are probably something like barkley/nelson/chubb
