It'd probably be capped at 30 fps/720p with Denuvo, and crippling performance even with the graphical limitations.

I wonder if Deus, Lavos, and Jenova were all different members of the same species. Very similar M.O's.
This is fucking terrible
We can also emulate Chrono Trigger right now, for free, and play it exactly as we remember it being.
I still have my original cartridge so it's not even ethically questionable.

No idea what that is. I use ZSNES or something from 100 years ago. Works perfectly, no need to change.
lol zsnes works perfectly lol
works well enough, yes. perfectly no. philistines, I swear
I can't think of a single issue i've had using zsnes
http://emulation-general.wikia.com/wiki/ZSNES
sound is the one major issue I have with it. so many games where sounds just... don't sound right. and that bugs the ever-loving shit out of me. in games like Final Fantasy where you're constantly navigating menus and hearing the bleep as the cursor moves it drives me insane. some graphical glitches and other assorted shit too, nothing as annoying as the sound though.
of course higan afaik only uses .sfc files? so pick your poison I guess. it does sound infinitely better though.
to be fair I'm one of those people where a clinking spoon or chewing will drive me into a murderous rage; ymmv
Yeah I don't care about any of that and neither does anyone else but you.
Gonna keep using ZSNES.
You know, I've always used SNES9X/ZSNES and never had issues but ever since Bizhawk came around I noticed people started saying all of the emulators I've used fine were "horribly inaccurate etc etc" and needing to use terrible emulators that have horrible performance on a PC if you want '100% accuracy.'
I mean, I go for 100% accuracy by using the actual systems ;p
So that's what's throwing me off. Why can't they just do this:
The middle option took me two seconds. You can apply it to a HUGE set of graphics in a batch operation.
The one on the right is just scaling up the image without preserving pixel colors.
It seems like they just took an emulator and applied one of those SAIX2 filters to it.
If I had to guess? Because of SE funneling everything into XIV & XV milking and VII:R development, so instead of taking an IOTA amount of time to do something properly..just shit out something quickly of something everyone love because you know it'd be an instant money maker.
Only this is (rightfully) backfiring on them.
I bet I know what happened with Chrono Trigger! They had too many of their resources pooled for Ni No Kuni II, to make sure it was the best damned game ever on release. Yeah, I'm gonna stick with that to give me some hope back this next month.
Err, am I being whooshed?
