Draft was way more intense than I anticipated lol. Did a few mock to practice, but god damn! Damn near everyone on my top board was drafted wayyy earlier than I anticipated.

you'll be fine - Catcher impact is limited since even the best ones don't hit that well and see limited ABs. teams will have a decent amount of roster churn through the season as some guys suck and other randos Free Agents have great seasons. fantasy baseball is pretty forgiving in that way

Say you have 7 starters you keep all season, they make 30 starts each. The last 10 starts they make will not "count" - the game will treat it as if they didn't play.

It's in place to prevent people from consistently adding and dropping SPs to get as many starts as possible and rack up counting stats (Ks, quality starts). You would have a scenario where a team with great starters would lose those categories to a team cycling crappy guys and winning through sheer quantity.

It's fine if you have a bunch of starters now, just realize that if you keep all of them, all season, you're going to cap out before the season is over

Another point of clarification, the start and stats only count if the guy is in your lineup when he makes the start. Bench starts will not contribute to the 200 start cap

If a player is placed on the DL, the little DL10/DL30/DL60 icon will pop up next to their name. Go to "manage DL" and you can place them into the DL slot, freeing up a roster spot.

Once off the DL, you can keep them in the DL slot as long as you like, but you won't be able to make any FA additions until the healthy player is no longer in your DL slot

Standings will settle as the year goes on. For example, the difference between first and last in SB right now is 5-1. One good day and you could leap from last to first in that category. Later in the season that could be 120 steals are first and 46 is last.

Baseball is all about sample sizes, in general, so after a few weeks you should have a decent idea of your team's strengths and weaknesses and what areas (if any) you want to address.
