It's live
I don't think they've ever had a legit Shiny Mew in the actual games so that's noteworthy.
Shiny sprites have been added for every Legendary as they were first released into the game. The only shiny Legendary we currently have access to is Lugia, so I wouldn't hold your breath.
Is this pixel stuff an early April Fools day thing?
Probably.
I'm on the 3rd task now. 2nd was 10 great catches, 3 eggs, and 2 candies from walking. 3rd is reach lvl15, 2 gym battles, and 2 raids.
I have a gotcha, so the great throws will actually suck because I have to turn the gotcha off to do them :/
Sprites are definitely their April Fools. They finally released the results on their "amazing graphics update."
Just gotta wait for April Fools day now...
I know barely anyone cares about this now but Mew is catchable and they did a huge ban wave on spoofers
Managed to get myself a shiny purple Amphorous thanks to the event. Also managed to fill quite a few holes in my 1st gen pokedex thanks to the longer event going on.
I've never done raids, so I've never encountered a legendary, but I completed a set of stamps in research last night and I got a moltres out of it, which I caught.
For originals I'm just missing Muk, Snorlax, legendaries, and those stupid international ones.
Gotten Moltres twice for rewards, such a bitch to catch. I also got the pink sheep for my first shiny.
Next event day is May 19th and the featured Pokémon will be Charmander.
It seems to me the game is always running some kind of "special event" now. It was the Gen 1 Pokemon bonanza for a little while, then it went back to normal for like two days before some other special event that i can't remember. And then it was that earth day thing which made most everything either ground, water, or grass type, and now, only after a single day of "normal" now it's fighting types. I mean, it's nice to get a chance to catch stuff you normally wouldnt, but is the game really starting to preform so badly that they have to crank up the events to 11 just to keep people logging in?
- and my personal answer is yes. When it's only the same few Pokemon that spawn around your stomping ground, you kind of don't have any point of logging in all the time. But this isn't exactly sustainable. After a point, especially with all these special events, there's not going to be much left for anyone to do.
Alolan Forms coming soon. Just pushed through in-game announcement.
Sandshrew and Vulpix are the two i want. Hope i see them around.
