Bidoof appears to be the new trash mob. I've seen a bird and a cricket as well.

I've evolved two Bidoofs already. Never catching another.
Yeah, Emo bird, bidoof, starters, cricket, bunny and Lopunny, are the only ones I've seen so far. Pearl and Diamond is where I dropped off of pokemon until XY, as you may be able to tell from my ability to name them.
Off topic, I just saw a pink Murkrow at a gym. When did they do a shiny event for him? Last Halloween?
Ranked Boost has a chart of what's available right now - https://rankedboost.com/pokemon-go/g...ion-4-release/
I regret a lot of evolves I've done now so many wasted candies.
Barely even caught half of the second/third gen wahoo
Grind grind grind. I know that's what this whole game boils down to but man I'm feeling that grind when all I'm currently interested in are the same five different pokemon that need 50-125 candies. Think they should have included a few more pokemon in their gen 4 launch.
And why is the cricket so damn hard to catch? Low CP but still really hard to catch and they seem to run the first chance they get most of the time.
I've got all three starters fully evolved. been burning rare candies on getting the gold Johto medal so I can finish the Celabi quest.
I went 1/5 on Mewtwo's yesterday, 4 of them were weather boosted. Guess which one I caught.
Got 3 shiny beldum's yesterday. Managed to get one in each form for my collection.
The new move that was introduced to the game during the event makes Metagross one of the top defenders for gyms.
yeah, I've got mine in the local gym right now. stack those coins.
Looks like the upped spawn rate for the few gen 4 is over?
Wasnt able to get enough candies to get the 3rd evo for each of the starters. Oh well.
I was able to get four shiny Bedlums and get a copy of each evo stage. And yeah, Metagross is a beast.
So dumb newbie question. I'm trying to figure out how to consistently do curve throws now. My issue is I seem to go from I can consistently land greats, to well shit I barely caught the edge to the circle and then I'll waste like 5-10 balls where the thing just flips arcs way over the head of the pokemon. I'm right handed, so I'm starting the ball on the far left corner and flicking towards the right before releasing so it will curve back to the left. I've tried watching videos and while I now seem to be able to at least semi regularly hit them with the ball, I can't get consistently hitting great/excellent throws.
practice makes perfect, i tried every "trick" on youtube and it didn't do much. just throw a billion balls.
Stuff isn't all the same distance from you, so there isn't some magical one-throw-fits-all solution. A lot of the Gen4 stuff is closer to the screen than I'd like, and I have to throw really weak curves to hit the center. I usually just aim for Greats and get them a majority of the time. Excellents are too much hassle unless I'm doing a raid. Also, fuck trying to hit some stuff's circle at all (I'm looking at you, Exeggcute).
Despite being right handed myself, your method is so different from mine, I doubt my method is of much use to you.
I spin with my right index finger, clockwise, roughly around where the ball starts. I then drag up and to the left, releasing at some point (tick marks are there to give rough examples of where I might release) depending on how far from the screen the target is.
I haven't read/watched any of the "Do this to improve your throws" stuff, so idk what most people do ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Also, if it's a big target, or a flier, my drag line is a lot more vertical (most T4/5 raid bosses fit this model).
Fun fact: If you look at the finger smears on my screen after several catches, it looks like I'm trying to draw a dick & balls on the screen with my finger oil.
New event is up.
