This series gonna fix all the Sequel trilogy plotholes while also being awesome in it's own right

The Dark Troopers from the old vidya game Dark Forces scared the living hell out of me.

Dave Filoni is the best goddamn thing to happen to the Star Wars franchise and if Disney has any sense, they'll let him (and Jon Favreau) steer the ship and not question where they're taking it. Holy shit this episode was fantastic.

Love that they didn't shy away from the Ahsoka reveal at all. Just started off with her strongly off the top and let the viewers immediately know she was gonna be a big component of the episode. No fucking coy, will she show up, draw it out, is it actually her, etc, etc typical TV drama bullshit. Just jumped in and went for it, and it was great

Well, rumors started earlier this year from sources connected to the BigMouse that once KKs contract is up in 2021, that Filoni and Favreau will have majority creative control on all future SW movies and series.

Thank fucking god. Disney would have to be run by complete morons to consider anything else. Even if they're not directly in charge of writing or producing or directing or etc, if they, Filoni especially, took on a Kevin Feige-like overseer role, Star Wars will bounce back from the shitshow it's been the last few years

God I hope they're involved in the Obi-Wan series.

Sadly its still rumors, but with how bad KK has done with the IP...and with how Filoni and Favreau have done with it.... I can see it happen.

I would honestly love to see them ultimately as a Kevin Feige role...just the overall gatekeeper of anything star wars. They don't have to even direct the film...but any Star Wars movie or show would need to go through them before moving forward.

Edit: There was a rumor on CinemaBland that Filoni and Yost were re-writing the Obi-wan series story and script...so hopefully there is truth to that.

Loved this episode but their was one little thing that was bothering me:

Spent too much time making it sound like Grogu can’t be trained. Yet Mando is like *head nods* to going to another Jedi. Also means Ashoka is a one of deal that will appear in 1-2 episodes per season if that. I get they are trying to force this to be just Mando and Grogu against the universe type show, but it’s sad to see how quickly characters come and go. Would have liked to see her involved a little longer even if she didn’t become a permanent character.
