I'm probably a minority but I'm hoping the last reveals are from smaller/lesser known series

I feel like at this point its curious that Capcom and Bamco have not gotten anything new. I would also tend to believe the rumors of Crash being more true than not. So the last 3 are penciled in so to speak, unless something weird happens with a Reimu or Mach Rider type character. I am still leaving open the possibility that Sega gets Robotnik in just to continue the heroes vs villains aspect for the "classic" entrants on the roster.

I think the bigger read is not necessarily who gets in with these next 3 slots, but when they do. I would imagine the rest of the year would be a trailer + release in spring for fighter 9. Then E3 would be announced and released for fighter 10 and just an announcement for 11. 11 would release August/September alongside an announcement that the last 4 fighters are coming but will be released a la carte and not part of a set pass.

FP2 should finish up before the December deadline specifically to allow for the last 4 fighters. Maybe they're more of the echo variety, with one or two fleshed out Nintendo specific fighters just to catch up ground (like Rex) before Sakurai does whatever has been rumored with the next Kirby. Dixie then becomes as easy pick, as does BotW Zelda.

I am not 100% lost on Geno, only like 95%. The concept of Geno being from star road and inhabiting inanimate objects seems pretty fitting for him to animate the "shell" of his Mii Fighter to be a full entrant sounds poetic and would fit with how Sakurai strives to be faithful to source material. But I know its a longshot.

Timing could work out too with Rise coming out in late March.

Originally featured in the Xenoblade Chronicles 2 game as main character Rex’s two-in-one ally, Pyra/Mythra reawaken in March as the newest DLC fighters joining the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate game. Pyra/Mythra are part of the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Fighters Pass Vol. 2, which also includes DLC fighters Min Min from the ARMS game, Steve & Alex from Minecraft and Sephiroth from the FINAL FANTASY series, along with two yet-to-be-announced fighters. More information about Pyra/Mythra’s move set, as well as their exact release date, will be revealed in the future.

I didn't notice until someone pointed it out to me that their thighs were covered. I guess it's to be expected given this is an E rated game. Besides that though the movesets look sick. Can't wait to try her out.

With this reveal there's only 1 more left right? Or is it 2 left?

2 left for FP2, 6 total left for the games code if they go there.

Mythra and Pyra are separate fighters like Sheik/Zelda were, but occupy the same slot likely using Down+B to switch.

Voice theory called this but with Minecraft not taking any extra voice slots one of the next 2 fighters will likely not have spoken dialogue, for what its worth.

You know, they could have covered up Mai's fucking thighs then. Still annoys me that we can't get KOF Mai in the game, lol. So dumb.

I don't mind Pyra at all, but the hypocrisy stings when Mai has quite a few alternate outfits that aren't revealing that they could have used.

And yes, I know that even this version of her is edited for less skin, but they did Mai real dirty. Makes me wonder if we'd have gotten Street Fighter Alpha tracksuit Chun-Li instead of her standard outfit because omg thighs.

@Rata: We have Akira as an assist trophy. I'm actually stunned they haven't added more. Its the perfect place to slot more characters into.
