Only 6 players have at least 5 homers and 3 SBs so far this season
guess who one of them is
Spoiler: show
Also: #Brewers bullpen with 3.1 scoreless innings last night. Relievers have now tossed 28.0 consecutive innings without surrendering an earned run. Have allowed just 11 hits during this stretch (6bb, 34k).
8 game winning streak baby.
So Berlinger got benched by Roberts for “not hustling” and cruising into second on a double. Just ignore the fact they are down by 4 at that time and need runners.
Got to love baseballs unwritten rules.
Also how the fuck are the giants at .500 when at one point starters 1-3 were on the dl, and we are like third worst in run production
Yankees fucking ROLLING.
I sure am happy they're doing so well. Winning record to end April is sick.
It was a slow start to the season but holy shit we’ve been on a tear. Didi and the rest of the bats have been monsters. Saw a stat saying we’ve outscored our opponents something ridiculous like 62-17 in the last 8 games. At 18-9 we’re only 2 games behind the bosox who everyone already wanted to declare the division winners like 3 weeks ago lol.
I heard that scoring stat too, best in the majors and leading in home runs. 9 win streak. Not many close games outside of 2 of the last 3, Papa John's must be going broke with them winning by like 5-8 runs a game. Astros coming up though should start to get interesting.
Kay was saying before the season started that he expects this team to break the '01 Mariners record for wins in a season and he's stuck to his guns even with the 9-9 start. He also mentioned that the last (maybe only?) time they started 9-9 was the '09 season when they won the WS. Starting to think he's right lol.
Shit, and the biggest part of all this is that this is all considering Stantons slow non-mvp start. If he breaks out, fuck.
i was at the second home game when stanton judge and sanchez all homered
ill be at the wednesday game against the Red Sox next week, hoping for some kind of shitshow
Jed Lowrie set an A's record for hits in April (35) and tied the record for RBI's in April with 27. The two people he's tied with is Jason Giambi and a little known guy named Reggie Jackson. So pretty impressive company.
Corey Seager is having Tommy John surgery.
Same. Just had my fifth leave his start yesterday with an oblique strain.
Josh Hader just had a 2.2 IP save for the Brewers in a 1 run game
8 strikeouts.

He looks like he's pitching against high schoolers. Nobody has any idea which pitches to swing at, he just blows batters away.
