Royal Guard was one of the most colossal disappointments I’ve ever seen in an anime/manga.

Ngl, I'm more excited for Burn the Witch than I am for the rest of Bleach being animated. Since both of them are in the same world, I only hope we'll get more exposition during Bleach to unfuck the last arc and tie into Burn the Witch better.
20th Anniversary Stream is in about 2 hours. They could show a teaser trailer for Bleach or Burn The Witch or both. They are already screenshots for BTW OVA. I’m not going to following the stream or news as I’ll be playing Doom.
Burn the Witch is set in London and is about two witches who are part of the Western branch of the Soul Society and takes place 2 years after the end of Bleach. Movie than an OVA by Studio Colorido this Fall Season.
Lol. "Western branch". So I assume they aren't called Shinigami there? Are they going to be called "Soru Rhepah" or something in the anime?
They have to burn the witch. Obviously they will be called witchers
Is that manga ongoing? I remember the teaser chapter that came out a billion years ago but just wasnt very interested.
I think it's just a one shot from what I remember
Burn The Witch. It's getting 2-week limited release from October 2 in Japanese theaters and distributed by Amazon Prime Video and by Crunchyroll in 3 episodes. First Chapter(Limited Series) was also released on Jump App.
Spoiler: show

Not able to see what's in your spoiler, Ker so sorry if you already posted it, but first chapter is out. It's not bad, reserving judgement till i read more.
Kubo's art is still amazing.
Also check the hint in the title.

So are they going to be more magic users than fighting with a sword?
The whole series could be interesting, but Kubo should only be allowed to do art lol
While first, technically second issue, none of the characters really seemed to appeal to me yet. Kubo also keeps up his tradition of shitty western names.
The writing already has a few of Kubo’s trademark nonsense in it. Still a huge fan of his art so I’ll stick around for that.
I just hope he doesn't get burnt out on this as bad as he did with bleach.
To be fair he got burnt out because of the nature of Shonen Manga and because he didn't care about the characters past the first couple of arcs. There's a notable drop in quality following the Hueco Mundo arc.
There were so many plot setups with zero payoff in literally every arc after that started with Ichigo and Ulquiorra fighting.

It’s suppose to be 4 chapters long(or 5 if you include the one shot). Unofficial Weekly Jump Twitter says it could go longer but they aren’t sure until official statement.

Jump's Official Volume List confirms BURN THE WITCH Volume 1 will be out on October 2nd.
There's also the possibility series could have more than 1 volume, even with 4 chapters. This latter part is not completely sure information, so we'll hold on until official confirmation.
Spoiler: show
Supposedly we're getting another arc of Bleach soon. Also Burn the Witch is supposed to tie in, so might see a Bleach character show up in the last release ($5 on Urahara if so).
Once he got everyone together at fake Karakura town and just decided that Aizen had enough of the jobbers (IE: everyone who wasn't him) stealing all the screentime (all = any), that was the beginning of the end.
Dude literally spelled it out when Aizen whomped Hallibel. "None of you are worthy my time and this shit's getting really old."
