This starts on Sunday if anyone still cares about GDQ. Unfortunately some names are still prominent on the schedule, not that it's surprising at this point. Can only hope that nothing gross happens this time. The games themselves look cash and the finale day includes my boy Carl Sagan's Mario Maker levels in a 3v3 blind race instead of the boring shitfest that is Metroid.

I’m surprised Mario Maker isn’t a spiritual successor to SM speedrun races. It’s so damn fun and hype to watch.

Yeah, this lineup is chock full of awesome and welcomed variations (like TAS Super Metroid) that keep older staples fresh.

Just hope the commentary is better to go with it. Both the runner and the couch.
