Well that game was nutty. Went about how I expected. Playing 3 rookie D-men really showed at the end for the Kings. Martinez played a career high 44 minutes that otherwise would have been going to Doughty. Oh well, at least this series has been quite the show so far.

So Bob Cole is upset and baffled why he isn't being used in broadcasts for the first round. And while I typically like Bob and respect what he's done as a broadcaster, age is seriously catching up with him. Also, Sportsnet is choosing to go with Rick Ball instead, who's been fantastic all season as the Flames play-by-play guy and deserving of the opportunity.
