Tumblr ban will be a slow process as they have to go through billions of posts. They apologize for flagging sfw posts, but won't reverse anything unless users appeal. They also apologized to the lgbt community, but have no plans to reverse their decision.

I feel like this notion that tumblr as a platform can't survive without porn is a bit hard to swallow.
It will survive without porn, but a lot of the bullshit that @staff has been implementing over time have been put up with because porn still existed. They also have an "algorithm" that flags almost anything as suggestive, even puppies. It will limp on, but it will go the way of myspace, friendster, livejournal, etc.
