Does this mean we're going to get a 4.6 patch since we're skipping a 4 lords trial this time?
I was about to ask the same thing lol... We have three more lords to battle (assuming we get a rematch with Genbu)+ the final boss. Unless they're going to put more than one lord into the next trial this is gonna take a while to get through if we skip a patch to add Zenos.
Hyped about Deep Dungeon though, hopefully it's good!
Meh at the microtransaction bs, guess we can't go one letter without some sort of crap thrown our way.
Here's hoping they throw us SAMs a bone, though I'm not terribly optimistic on it being anything beyond an ever-so-slight nudge to potency.
Did they say anything about being able to use the app to send your retainers out after they finish ventures?
Wow so much salt on the "greed only" change to 24 mans. I for one will be happy to run it on main for chances of gear for alt.
and less chances tog et gear for classes you're going to get gear for, thus increasing the number of times you have to run per week in an event that already has hugely randomized gear drops.
sounds great to me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
if you want a specific piece of gear go on that fucking job and need it. easy. no one asked for this.
While I think it's a poor decision, I can at least see the logic behind it. I think the goal was to let people gear secondary jobs without forcing them off high-demand roles. IE, let tanks who like to tank, tank, but still give them a fair crack at DPS or Healer gear. I know I personally enjoy playing MNK but outside of my close group of friends and especially in random DF groups, I'll tank, both for the queue times and because I don't trust tanks who aren't me or someone I know well.
That's nice and all but some people actually need the gear for their mains since this is on par with basic tome gear and not everybody raids for the upgrade mats. This solution really doesn't help anyone, you can already greed and get gear for jobs you're not playing as except you don't screw over those that can use the pieces right there and then. And that's not even factoring in the "glamour" crowd.
Unless they also implement a token system so you can actually buy the piece you want for the week if you don't get it this change is not gonna work out.
I said it was a poorly thought out implementation. The comment was more a response to the "if you want a specific piece of gear go on that fucking job and need it."
I already use 24 mans as my way to take a break from tanking literally everything else, so that doesn't matter for everyone either.
The game has little enough content as it is, I don't mind running 24man a couple more times a week because there's nothing else to do.
I'd rather use that time to play other games that aren't cashgrab bullshit honestly. Idk how many more times SE has to show themselves as not giving a single fuck about the players before people wise up but I hope it's soon.
It'll suck for any job that has a BiS piece that comes from a 24 man.
Overall though I'll like the job because the average ilv should get a nice bumop because people will not incentivized to go on an alt job. And it shouldn't as cancerous since people might be picky about what pieces they 'greed' on.
I'll probably hate it by week 3 though as people continue to be incompetence at team based mechanics.
Well they said it isn't set in stone just yet, if they get enough feedback they'll probably change their mind and the response is overwhelmingly negative pretty much everywhere.
