Latest rumor of the Switch Pro says it will be using a Nvidia Volta GPU and won't release until 2021.
If massive performance improvements aren't expected then fuck it tbh. Only reason I'll buy a new Switch is to get better performance, especially in existing games where FPS can tank. Don't necessarily care about them squeezing out better graphics, I just want more consistent frame rates.

Also worth pointing out that according to our estimates the Nintendo Switch passed the Xbox One in hardware shipments during the holiday quarter last year.
The Xbox One is not too far behind, but it has only taken Switch 34 months to achieve what the Xbox One did in 74 months.

Surpassed the SNES now as well.
Without sounding too fanboy I really hope the concept of the Switch does catch on.
It's funny that Sony did it first with the vita but they didn't do it right and gave up on it. The connection is horrid on the vita > ps4 if you aren't in the same house.
The Vita was solid for a handheld but Sony took a double barrelled shotgun and used both barrels on their foot with the overpriced memory cards
