Sorry for the late reply, been busy with work for the past few days.
I rarely allow my kids to play any games, but he does seem to enjoy watching me play ni no kuni 2 & battle chasers. Back to your question, I think he would very much enjoy 'light-hearted-theme' games. In short, I think those 2 games you suggested would be perfect for him. Thnx.
I'm not sure about Mario Odyssey. I have a 6 year old daughter and she struggles with controlling 3D Mario movement (like jumping on moving platforms and such) and playing Cappy is not fun at all. And the thing is, she loves playing that Mario game on the ipad.
I think Tropical Freeze or Kirby where you can carry him through levels may be better.
Ah right I forgot about those 2. I heard Kirby is on the easy side though since the AI seems to know how to solve all the puzzles
Fortnite for Switch seems confirmed, as a result of Korean ratings board registration.

With E3 a week away, Bamco files for a trademark under the name "Enterteria".
It doesn't seem to be attached to any current Bamco project or announcement.
I can't remember if Baba was removed from Berseria or if it began without him, but if this is a mainline title it would be the first one since Hearts where Baba was not a producer. He helped write Vesperia.
Should also be said that Bamco has been making trademarks every couple of weeks for the past few months with nothing new announced.
I kind of hope with Baba being gone Tales can get it's shit together considering Vesperia was the last solid title and Baba is most of the reason Zestiria went to the dogs. Sacrifice the story for waifus!
I'm not sure if you're saying Xillia was the last solid title of if you're saying Xillia was meh too.
I made it through Xillia and I'd consider it a bit boring as I do with most; but the shit that happened with Alisha in Zestiria stood out like a sore thumb to me.

How silly and not at all surprising of Nintendo/Amazon.
I'm at work and didn't watch the video, but... how exactly do you preorder a subscription service And why would you need to?
You go on Amazon and they take your reservation for...an online code that..likely has no limited availability.
And you don't. That's why it's silly.
I hope that if Nintendo releases a switch revision; which seems likely due to the thermals warping the device slightly. That they include a SIM tray so the thing has 4g capabilities. It seems like a huge oversight to have missed such a basic yet crucial feature for a portable console. They missed out on this with 3ds as well, not that Nintendo best platform had suffered from that miss.
Weren't those reports of thermal warping just an optical illusion?
Dunno, mine has a pretty noticeable bend when laying on a flat surface. Unless the design was not to have a near perfectly flat tablet.
