It's kind of insane how much influence Stardew Valley had on its genre. New *real* Harvest Moon looks really good.
I think this says more about what's starting to pan out than what was actually in this showcase. The NMH1+2 ports have been rumored for a while. HAL Labs is now technically a "partner" designation I guess, which leads into the new Kirby murmurs, but with this being the last Partner Showcase for the year it may not be ready yet. Though its more about delayed games in BD2 instead of newly announced ones, Nintendo starting to pivot to 2021 releases.
Age of Calamity looks better and better every time its shown.
Really sad about the Showcase
Dont care about Hyrule Warriors,
Only thing I cared was BD2 and its in February
I never got to play NMH2, so this is a pretty nice "surprise." I do wish the ports were a little cheaper, though.
The real switch news for the day is that Cthulhu Saves Christmas is now out on Switch, with a PC patch for the added content!
Added content?? Do go on
I just played those game
So NG+, ability to carry over and complete all r'lyehtionships, some new events and items, and a harder difficulty.Cthulhu Saves Christmas has been patched to add a new mode - New Game+!
Complete the game and it will ask you if you want to start over. In New Game+, you'll retain your stats, equipment, and items from the game as well as all progress you've made in R'lyehtionships. NG+ mode has a few new story events & R'lyehtionship events (with equipment rewards) that aren't in the regular game. There is also an optional difficulty that you can pick in NG+ mode that scales enemy stats up beyond what they could be in the regular game.
Sweet. I was kinda miffed I was too impatient to wait to play it around xmas. I'll do another run in Dec :D

Lots of quality games on sale at Gamestop today. I picked up New Super Mario Bros U Deluxe for $27. Other places have it for $35 at best.
Nintendo released a Fortnite-themed Switch for Cyber Monday. The (Gamestop) email about it mentioned "Cyber Week Limited Run!"
Edit: It's not a Gamestop exclusive, Amazon also has it, so I imagine all retailers do.

Nintendo trying to hire an intern-kun to solve their marketing issues.
Also, not to put the tinfoil hat back on...but the next Smash tournament is literally "Beware the Mushrooms". And its right up against the Mario 35th tournament that was delayed.

Wonder if this is in response to the Melee/Etika drama
NA version is called Fungi Fever, so whoever was in charge of translating didn't get the fucking memo.
