Gamestop has added an additional 6 unnamed SKU's in their system for Switch titles, bringing the total to 18.

Que the "a direct is coming" memes.
Would also be a good time to drop the SNES titles on the online service, since renewal is coming soon.
Kinda shocked there isn't news on a Nintendo Direct yet for that
Question: I'm thinking of finally picking up a Switch but heard there's a new version or model or whatever that has a much better battery life. Having looked into it, it seems like the new model is already released. So... if I were to pick up a Switch now, do I have to keep an eye out for a certain box or design or etc? Or is it just that every new Switch (that isn't the Lite) will be with this better battery life?
Okay cool. They're not advertising it as much as I figured they would and I was thinking they were gonna release some new fancy OP model later. But if the new one is out, I'll most likely finally pick it up
Red box, serial number starts with XKW if you wanna be sure. Old model is white box with a hand on front and serial starts with XAW.
Yeah, picked up the newest version of the Switch yesterday.
Smash Bros + an extra controller set. Of course I forgot to get a docking station to charge the controllers; oh well.
Gotcha! Thanks for the heads up!
Does anyone have a reccomend stylus for the Switch? Was thinking of picking one up for Mario Maker 2 but didn't want those cheap tipped ones that feel like hollow rubber.
Also coming to Index, Vive, Rift, & PSVR.
Dawn of the Final Day.
24...31 hours remain!
Edit: Soraya Saga has retweeted. Incoming Monolith announcement now, too.
Monolith is realistically the only Nintendo company I actually give a shit about. I'm hoping for 1 or 2 things:
Xenoblade 1 Port/Remaster: If this is done, I want a way to toggle EXP ON/OFF, or reduce it with an option. The game is a cakewalk, especially if you know how to play, know proper gem setups, or do quests as they become available. In my ~5 playthroughs of the game, I've played it 4x on PC because of cheats to either reduce or turn off EXP. Makes it very fun for challenge runs, or to just not overlevel. It has FFXI style level, where if you're below below the enemy's level, you get penalized, and they get buffed. Vice versa as well. Last playthrough I went through ~15-20 levels underleveled, and it was a blast.
Xenoblade X port. I don't like the game very much, I find it disappointing, however I'd like it on modern sysem for people who haven't played it. Also, to get rid of the wii u gamepad integration >.>
Xeno X is also the only game I own for Wii U that doesn't have a port. Please give it to me so I can trash that system forever.
Still waiting on that Tokyo Mirage Sessions port
Leaks for later today
