I think the TM is odd for a few reasons.
If it was registered in the UK, then okay yeah they're finally bringing 3 to Europe on the PSN and maybe a PC release.
If it was just 1 and 2, I would think that maybe they were going to try a pied piper or 1+2 3DS version release stateside.
But this is for the US and for 3, which just piques all sorts of curiosity. Could be 1 and 2 have not been approved yet, or they just want to do a 3 remaster - which would be a very odd use of resources to not update 1+2 at the same time. Presumably even moreso if Nintendo is footing a part of this, im sure they and Monolith want to have this be a profitable as possible.
A+ title

day one
Is there a list of upcoming neogeo classics for the switch? I have 2020 super baseball, and i’m hoping that baseball stars 2 actually makes the list.
So anyone interested the homebrew/CFW scene should start paying attention. Information was released today on cold-booting the Tegra X1 into recovery mode and running any code. Following that, 2-3 other moderate-to-major exploits were also released. Custom firmware is probably still a few months away, but it looks like the flood gates have opened.
Apparently this is triggered simply by shorting 2 pins and holding a button while booting the console. The best part is it's unpatchable and can only be fixed in a (future) hardware revision.
Edit: it looks like the folks who worked on this gave a traditional 'responsible disclosure' with all the info to Nvidia and then sat on the exploit for 90 days. (Actually today is technically a couple days short of 90, reasons not worth going into in this post). This opens up the possibility of hacking *anything* based on an X1 which has the potential for very serious implications. Amazing that a bunch of Switch devs are the ones bringing this to light.
The exploit is out in the open now, and there's already clips of the Switch running Linux.
Unless you're very technically inclined and actually know what to do with access to the bootrom, it has little use atm, but I wouldn't be surprised to see functional emulators or dumped games within a few months since we're dealing with fairly common hardware.
This is exactly the day I'd been waiting for. I am gong to have cards full of ROMS for this sonofabitch as soon as a GUI is released.
God damn I might have to buy a second switch to keep in the box then. Fuah
Yeah I might do this to my current switch and buy a second sooner or later as a backup. I am getting a lot more use out of my switch thanks to games I never got to enjoy that found new life with portability like stardew and skyrim. Meanwhile PS4 and Vita have been dust collectors for years. Should probably pick up god of war at least to see if the console still runs lmao.
By the way I can't stand the wait for hollow knight.
Oh wow . Links please. Will def. do this.

I actually just thought about turning my old PSP into a portable raspberri pi.
Is the extra cash here potentially worth the headache of soldering, cutting, and wire placement?
You still can<t transfer your save Data to another switch correct?
That's correct, only method we have of doing so is an unreleased jailbreak.
So it kinda sucks if you plan to sell your Hackable Switch and buy an unhackable one then.
Also my wallet will hurt soon
