10,000ft in less than a minute is an extremely high level of descent, such a steep one can also be considered as a dive. Terribly sorry for all crew and passengers I can't imagine what they've gone through in those moments.
The plane involved is a 737 Classic (not a MAX). It should be at least 20 years old.
plot twist all boeings have a fatal flaw that allows them to nose dive
second plot twist this fatal flaw can be activated...REMOTELY!
Such a tragedy, and to go straight down like that just wow...
That stock is going to tank (if it hasn’t already, I haven’t checked).
Chicago Tribune: Man lived inside O’Hare for 3 months before detection, prosecutors say.

Guy stole an operations manager's ID and was fed by handouts from passengers. Three months and no one noticed.
“The court finds these facts and circumstances quite shocking for the alleged period of time that this occurred,” the judge said. “Being in a secured part of the airport under a fake ID badge allegedly, based upon the need for airports to be absolutely secure so that people feel safe to travel, I do find those alleged actions do make him a danger to the community.”Aditya Singh, 36, is charged with felony criminal trespass to a restricted area of an airport and misdemeanor theft.
The only shocking part is that someone was able to live in the secure zone of a high profile airport for 3 months with a stolen badge. This guy isnt a danger to the community based on what he's being charged for.
Not true. Planning could be many months before an actual would be terrorist would do harm if they were in the same position.
It'd all depend on the context but yeah, just cause he didn't do anything super terrible yet doesn't mean we should go easy on him.

I dunno, screwy kinda way, you gotta appreciate that hussle. I'm more curious how it came to be, was it a fired manager that didn't have their badge deactivated, or did he take an existing employees badge and they don't deactivate lost badges. Then you gotta ask in what situation was it normal for an employee to get food from passengers. Even ignoring the mistaken Identity from employees, how did no one question anything for so long. I'm curious how they finally caught him.
Its a very nice movie about living in a terminal, highly recommended if you’ve missed it.

United Airlines to purchase 200 flying electric taxis for $1.1B.
United Airlines will team up with US regional carrier Mesa Airlines to buy Archer's electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft as part of a $1bn order.
The deal is seen as a stamp of approval for start-up Archer, which said it will launch its shares on the US stock market following the deal.
United and Mesa said they predict using the taxis to fly passengers over congested highways to hub airports.
California-based Archer says the taxis will be capable of flying a distance of 60 miles (95km) at 150 miles an hour (240km/h) and could nearly halve carbon dioxide emissions for passengers travelling to the airport.
The business model must be 'Charge rich execs and celebs tons of money to not take a limo to the airport'....and hope they don't have shit for luggage.
I’m sure the flyers will compensated with $100 vouchers.
for our Ascension Island e-landing in 2013 we were given flight vouchers**

I am just impressed that those pilots were able to keep that plane under control.
