No Sersi sounds suspect, she's the only Eternal with even a little name value.

This cast is fuckin wild. Brian Tyree Henry is in everything these days and it brings me great joy.
I'm sure I could manage to sit through a movie featuring both Selma Hayek and Angelina Jolie without knowing anything else.
Yeah honestly I couldn't have named the Eternals. MCU doesn't need characters with name recognition to pop out hits.
Other than The Hulk and Captain America, weren't most of the MCU chars B or C-tier?
And Spidey. But yes.
Guardians were literally scrub tier before the movies happened.
Guardians of the Galaxy proved that. Really, the MCU is doing what makes the comics successful. You have your main story arcs with the top people like Iron Man, Cap, and now Spiderman, and then relatively unknowns that are off doing their own thing, that end up bringing it all together for the overarching plot lines.
I am hoping that since Fantastic 4 and mutants are part of of the MCU, we can start working on Galactus, the Secret Wars, a good Phoenix/Dark Phoenix saga.
I would put Iron Man as A-tier as well and MAYBE Thor.
But Black Panther, GotG, Doctor Strange, Ant Man/Wasp, Hawkeye, all B/C tier.
There is Scarlett Witch, who I would say is B/C tier as an Avenger, but was elevated to A tier with the XMen and the whole House of M, and depowering 99% of all mutants.
This is recency bias due to the success of the MCU.
Neither of those were A tier. Marvel had sold off rights to most of their big names to avoid bankruptcy (Hulk was also part of this which is why Universal gets rights to solo movies which is why they stopped making those)
When they started making the movies Iron Man was a B-list hero and Thor had actually been just brought back after having previously been canceled for low sales.

Gemma Chan (Captain Marvel/Crazy Rich Asians) in Talks to Join the Cast

She was Minn-Erva in Captain Marvel.
Been going through the old Eternal comics, I'm up to their most recent series. The Neil Gaiman one was really good, and the Dreaming Celestial remained a thing Marvel for a number of years afterward.

Feige introduced two new members of the cast: Barry Keoghan, playing "Druig", Gemma Chan who will be playing "Sersi" and Kit Harrington who's playing "Dane Whitman," a non-Eternal character who Marvel fans may recognize from the comics as Black Knight. In addition to the new casting news, Feige shared with the audience exclusive looks at the concept art for the film including our first look at the cast in costumes.

Robb’s last words to Jon were the next time they’d meet he’d be in all black. Game of Thrones confirmed to be part of the MCU.
Smart casting decision by Marvel. Just imagine how much money they are saving on having an actor trained in the use of a sword for the part.
