Eight wounded in Colorado Springs, attacker arrested.

The suspect was restrained by some of his victims and arrested before dawn by officers, police said in a statement.

Some of the victims were attacked on streets and some were found injured in the city’s America the Beautiful Park, police said.

The victims were taken to hospitals but police said the extent of their injuries was not immediately known.

Authorities said the attacks appeared to “be random and there is no known relationship between the suspect and the victims.”

There was a stabbing at the London Central Mosque in Park Road, UK. The suspect is a white man.

The victim, who is in his 70s, was found with multiple injuries after emergency services were called to the London Central Mosque in Park Road, near Regent's Park, at 15:10 GMT.

He was taken to hospital by paramedics where his condition has been assessed as non-life threatening, the Met said.

Images from inside the mosque showed a white man wearing a red hooded top, jeans and with bare feet being pinned to the floor by police officers.

Witnesses suggested on social media the victim had been stabbed in the neck.

One video showed a knife on the floor under a plastic chair.

A 32 yr old man killed his 72 yr old father during a Zoom call.

A 72-year-old man has been stabbed to death by his son in New York state during a Zoom video chat with 20 other participants, police say.

Dwight Powers was attacked by his 32-year-old son, Thomas Scully-Powers, who then jumped out of a window and fled in Long Island's Amityville village.

He was held within an hour after chat guests had called the police. The motive of the attack was not yet clear.

Mr Scully-Powers was later charged with second-degree murder.

One man was killed and another man has serious injuries after being assaulted in Willington early Friday morning and police are searching for a person seen fleeing on a motorcycle who is suspected in the attack.

State police said they responded to Mirtl Road in Willington just after 9 a.m. , Friday, found the two men and started CPR because of the severity of their injuries.

Both men were transported and LifeStar responded for at least one of them, police said.

An "edged weapon" was used, according to police, and they are working to identify what the weapon was.

It appears the assailant and victims did not know each and investigators called the attacks an isolated incident.

He's still on the run. It has been discovered that he is an anti-gun activist who took the stance after Sandy Hook. Currently he is armed to the teeth with a number of guns he stole from his victims.

State police described Peter Manfredonia as white male about 6 foot 3 inches tall who weighs 240 pounds. He was last seen wearing a gray T-shirt, gray sweatpants and was carrying a bag, according to police. He is possibly armed with guns and a knife or machete, police said. He has black disheveled hair, state police said.

The FBI has joined the investigation along with the Connecticut State Police, and police in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

According to police, Manfredonia is believed to have stolen shotguns and a pistol from the house during the home invasion. He also stole a truck, state police said.

Spencer Grammer, VA for Summer on Rick & Morty, was injured in an attack on Friday.

Law enforcement sources confirmed the scary incident went down late Friday night at a place called The Black Ant in the East Village -- which was about to close up shop right before midnight as some guy -- whom witnesses described to cops as seemingly drunk -- walked up and demanded entry ... only to be turned away by the staff.

We're told that sent the guy into a rage, because he whipped out a blade and started hacking away in a full-on brawl with guests and employees. During the mayhem, we're told Spencer and a friend of hers were 2 of the victims who got slashed as the man raged.

Our sources say Spencer and her friend were actually among some of the people trying to pry the maniac off people, and as a result they suffered gashes ... Spencer to her arm and the friend to her back. They were taken to a hospital and treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

Seven dead and seven injured in Kaiyuan, China.

The suspect in Kaiyuan began attacking people at random just after 08:00 local time, Hong Kong's South China Morning Post (SCMP) newspaper reports.

Police said an officer was injured while confronting the suspect. No other details on casualties have been provided.

An eyewitness told the SCMP that the attack started outside a school and most victims appeared to be middle-aged or elderly women.

"It's lucky that school is off today. Otherwise there could have been more victims," said the eyewitness, a woman with the surname Liu.
