Destiny 2 [PS4/XBONE/PC/STD] - Year 2, Season 7, Season of Opulence

So far I really really enjoy revoker. Got a nice roll on twilight and beloved, and I definitely prefer it over those.

Overall I see it as being a style preference or situational choice. As far as comp I think if you're running 4 snipes and laning, beloved with LW would be the way to go. If you're running roaming/aggressive revoker hands down. I think about half my kills so far have been hip fires while pushing.

The most dominant teams I've been running with have been set up with 2 slayers (chap or DR/NF or LH) and two objective players (revok/NF or LH). Snipes can clog up lanes clean up kills, cap points, set or disarm, while the slayers push push push. The free ammo to pop shots just to keep their head down or be a distraction works wonders.

Destiny 3 probably, eventually. Bungie will continue to work on D2 until they deem the download size to be too much.

Slayerage, Datto and Chevy are teaching xQc and maybe some other variety streamers how to do the Leviathan. Just tuned in and it seems like they're making him figure it out.

So is endgame hard to get to in this? I have a character on PC but I want to play on xbox and not wait for character transfers. I dont want to do it though if I have to go through that campaign again ugh...

I don't know for sure since I've been around since the start, but I don't think it should be due to the "catch up" quests that give you armor/weapons to give you a big jump in light. I think the long part would be doing the story stuff again, but that shouldn't be too hard. Overall, it seems easier than ever to reach "endgame" faster.

No, but the reobtaining of exotics might be a slog. Also if you care about the perks on your guns and armor, it would be a pain to regrind perks you want.

Menagerie Heroic mode next week.

Increased Power Difficulty: Starts at 750, increases to 770
Matchmaking is disabled; you must form a fireteam to enter
Weekly curated gameplay modifiers, rotating per boss
Unlike normal mode, Guardians can hit a failure state
Extinguish is active; if your team wipes, Calus will send you to orbit
Encounters never repeat; if you fail to reach 100% progress toward the boss after completing each encounter once, you will be returned to orbit

Hearing the class swords can drop from the heroic boss (straight to your inventory), the ship can come from the chest, and Izanagi's Burden's catalyst is a 100% drop if you've got the perfected chalice.

Cleared a bunch of Menagerie last night. Buddy and I tried to pick up the Clan EXP bounty for Menagerie clears but it said we dont have the clan perk? I assume that means we need to level the clan up more?

Lumina quest next week.

We are excited to see Guardians wielding this weapon to support each other in combat. We don’t want to spoil too much, but you should expect to start your hunt for this weapon in the EDZ.

Destiny Grimoire Anthology, Vol. 2: Fallen Kingdoms preorders start next week.
Patch on July 9th so you can only open the Menagerie chest once a run (so get to farming before then).
