So they ninja-buffed Calus' shield on prestige -- both to start DPS phase and his last stand. Took like four rockets to break..

Did they ninja buff it, or are you just getting screwed by the Power scaling changes they made? What Light level is Calus?

Old raids stay at the same level so people who didn't buy the DLCs don't get screwed. He should still be 300. Everything else is the same but the shield.

Looks like you get powerful rewards when you reset Valor, so there's another grind (dunno if it happens each time.. seems like it would).

With both maps, it feels like Bungie is making more and more enclosed maps which are so unenjoyable, at least for me.

By the way, if you never did the post-story adventures for Osiris on a character, their rewards are powerful gear rewards.

Heroic Modifiers:

• Elite Soldier - While Elite Soldier is in effect, Kinetic Weapons and Power Weapons benefit from greatly augmented damage output and Reload Speed. In exchange, Super ability charge rate is reduced below normal levels.
• De-Powered - While De-Powered is in effect, Kinetic Weapons and Energy Weapons benefit from augmented damage output and increased precision damage multipliers. In exchange, Subclass grenades have their damage reduced.
• Elementalist - While Elementalist is in effect, Energy Weapons and Subclass grenades deal more damage, and grenade ability charge rate is increased. In exchange, melee damage, both with and without activation of a melee ability, is decreased (this has no effect (?) on damage inflicted by Swords or the melee aspects of certain Super abilities).
• Risk and Reward - While Risk and Reward is in effect, class melee attacks, melee abilities, grenades and Supers have their damage increased significantly. In exchange, melee abilities, grenades and Supers have their charge rates reduced.
• Brawler - While Brawler is in effect, melee ability charge rate is increased, player health regenerates more quickly, and Power Weapons deal more damage. In exchange, Super ability charge rate is decreased.
• Justice from Above - While Justice from Above is in effect, jump velocity is increased, and mid-air movement and Air Moves (Lift/Jump/Glide) have stronger effects. Additionally, Super ability damage and charge rate are increased. In exchange, melee ability charge rate is decreased, and damage dealt by melee abilities and class melee attacks (but not by Swords) is reduced.
• From the Shadows - While From the Shadows is in effect, forward movement speed, both while standing and while crouching, is increased; additionally, melee ability charge rate is increased, and the damage of class melee attacks and melee abilities is increased. In exchange, grenade charge rate is decreased.
• Heavyweight
• Grenadier
• Iron
• Grounded
• Glass
• Blackout

Also, are Escalation Protocols really that hard or is the pug on PS4 that bad? Only cleared one so far and apparently couldn't find the goddamn chest fast enough and missed out on the reward... why Bungo

I think they'red tuned very hard. The first wave on the first level is tuned for like 370, and I think they expect 9 people doing em. It should be way easier once more people hit the hard light cap.
