Seems Thunderlord is the new king of cheese:
Recently I've received the following with the Outlaw/Kill Clip combination: Valakadyn, Halfdan, Tigerspite, Go Figure. In case I ever care about PvP, which, if any should I bank?
I'd say save the Go Figure definitely. Not sure about all the Autos.
PvP is a Pulse Rifle/Hand Cannon meta at the moment, but next month is Black Armory, so we'll see what happens with the next balance patch. A lot of people, myself included, expected the next pinnacle crucible weapon to be an auto rifle because of that missing perk, but with the announcement of a pinnacle gambit weapon, I think it is far less certain.
That said (and full disclosure, I have never liked four-burst pulse rifles, even in D1), I do not like Go Figure and I think the fact that Datto has high praise for his has led to a lot of players latching onto it without thinking for themselves. I would not recommend it for someone new to crucible because its optimal TTK requires hitting all four shots in two bursts. It is slightly more forgiving than high-impact pulses like Redrix (in that two of your shots can be body shots), but if you miss a single shot or hit a third body shot, you're likely going to lose your engagement.
Gad, I was right about reaching Fabled this season: https://www.reddit.com/r/DestinyTheG...pq&sh=d2ab8b0a
Serra, this confirms what you and I thought.
Whelp! I'm starting the comp grind early this season. Gonna go for NF.

Or whatever they have. Idk, hoping they change up the weapons. Any info along those lines?

Killer, I checked and it doesn't look like any shotguns can roll with high-impact reserves, but that sniper from the Insight Terminus can, if you want to farm it next time that comes around.
The problem is, it is in the same slot as snapshot. And since it's the only one, we won't be able to test how strong it is/if it is worth getting until we actually get that drop..
No one was on, we needed something to do.. And we wanted to finally hit rank 14.
Aren't we getting some Black Armory news today? Or is that tomorrow?
I thought it was supposed to be today with the TWAB, but maybe not?
With Thanksgiving next week, I feel it has to be this week. They still have a few hours though.
Weekly Update:
https://www.bungie.net/en/Explore/Detail/News/47423
ViDoc and calendar coming on the 27th (once the next season starts)
Light info next week because of the holiday, more details the following week
List of changes coming to gambit next season
Double/Triple Infamy the last week of the season (20-27th)
The week before Black Armory drops will be a transition week, so there might be a few bugs to be aware of.
And that's more or less it.
Really glad they're doing something about this. Also happy about the other listed changes.Primeval Catch-Up Mechanics
Teams that summon their Primeval second can only ever receive one “catch-up” stack of Primeval Slayer. Previously, the trailing team would receive multiple stacks depending on how far behind they were. For instance, if the leading team had seven stacks of Primeval Slayer, when trailing team summoned they would receive four stacks. Now they will receive only one.
