TTK plan: get a cloaking device, sneak aboard the Dreadnought, kill Oryx.
Vanilla D2 plan: get a Vex teleporter, teleport to Ghaul, shoot Ghaul.

Did we, though? It gets shot and it flys off-screen, but there was no confirmation via the trailer. While the devs have said that Cayde is dead (wavering on the answer) he could always be brought back.



Petra is back and is on our side (which means this may be a Queen Vs Uldren storyline)
Exotics are getting random rolls (in the current build)
Negative armor rolls were disabled for E3
If you die in Gambit, you lose all of the "tokens" you've collected
Uldren teased as a possible raid boss
Forsaken campaign will have a similar progression to TTK where you do story > quests > ??? > raid
Non-exotic bows suck except on trash mobs

Yup, you're right. Have we seen any ghosts really get attacked in the series (apart from the one on the moon that had its light removed back during the first moon story mission)?

Actually we have with CoO. Sagira was shot and her light went out, but thanks to that device in the EDZ, she was brought back.

As many of you already know, we gave you a glimpse of beloved Hunter Vanguard Cayde-6’s final moments earlier this week.

Info about the new loadout changes, IB next week, faction rallies weren't even close, and some other ramblings that I doubt any of us really care about..

Looking at the gambit gameplay, did anyone else find it rather...boring? It looks somewhat fun near the end when everything's happening, but until then it's just supremacy with mobs.

Nope looks quite fun to me. If you don't like PVE it may not be for you.

The underlying tactics involved in how to set up your team (who to send over), if to send over small medium or large blockers etc, give me a good amount of hope that it will be great.

Yeah, I'm really excited for it. I think it's going to be a lot of fun watching all the strategies and tactics develop as people play it more. All the impressions I've been seeing have been incredibly positive too.

Ok, played this via Humble Bundle with Gryffes for like 8 hours.

I don't really like it. No idea what the story is because the cutscenes are 3 years long. The gameplay is... decent. Understanding where/what you are supposed to do to if you just play the MSQ and it outlevels you is not clear.

Great voice acting. Decent gear system. Very reminiscent of ME, style-wise.

If I had paid for this, I'd have refunded it.

Long Cutscenes? Legitimately never heard that complaint before lol. In fact usually the exact opposite. Very story-light.

But yah, pretty much nailed every basic complaint most people have with (had)Destiny and Destiny 2 :\. Its got a decent idea/foundation they just haven't seemed to realize yet. Destiny 1 TTK Era probably nailed what Destiny could be the best.
