When you enter the room, there are four large round plates that light up when you stand on them. There are also three plates, one in the middle, one on the left, and one on the right, with weird symbols. In two groups I've heard them called different things, so hopefully an accepted nomenclature will come out sooner rather than later.. If three people stand on these plates, they open up a door in front of the plate with a thing inside (I honestly can't remember it clearly enough to describe it right now..). When you have four people stand on the large round plates, it starts the encounter and three people get a buff (something selected or something, I think). Ideally one of the two people not standing on plates will get the buff so you don't need to adjust, but if it's all people on the plates, pick one and make the necessary adjustments. When all four plates are active, there will be an orange beam in the middle of the room. One of the people with the buff needs to jump in that beam and they'll be lifted into the sky (or space?) and see one of those symbols and a bunch of Cabal ships. When they fall down, an orb will fall as well. Three people need to hop on the three symbol plates at the same time to open those doors. The person with the orb needs to hop on these vents in front of the plates that are giving off gas or whatever to get the greed buff, hop down, then throw the orb at the target that corresponds to the symbol the person saw in space. For this part, we always had someone with the buff get the orb, but I don't think it's necessary. When that happens, another orb will fall. At this point, a person with the buff has to grab the orb and get the greed buff the same way. The four plate people need to return to their plates, recreate the orange beam, and then the person with the orb can get launched up again and use the orb to destroy one of the ships. They then fall down and you repeat all that two more times. There are a few parts when you can just kill adds, but I don't remember when they all were.
It's honestly a weird encounter and hard to really explain well, but once you get the hang of all the mechanics, it isn't too terrible. Final fight builds on this one, but with the extra elements and higher LL for adds and everything, it's kinda a bitch..
Picture maybe coming in the morning.........
