The show seems to be animated in Flash/Toon Boom. Character designs look really bad(stuff you find in tumblr) and She-Ra looks like a boy than a woman.

My biggest disappointment the show will be look cheap as they are using "Flash/Toon boom" for it than hand-drawn like Voltron.

The environments look nice, but the characters look like shit. The animator was on NPR the other day. Like, just make it look at least the same quality as Voltron. Especially since they're trying to make it have such a female centered role.

In all honestly however: The first thing that grates on me is her voice and the seemingly generic "OMG I DUN UNDERSTAND, YOU NOT MAKE SENSE DERP DERP" Second, I guess I should take back my earlier comment about this being stand alone and unconnected to He-Man. The series can't use the legendary call to power phrase and not be connected somehow. Unless they're moving Castle Grayskull to Etheria or some other crap. I kinda dig the transformation sequence at :30 but ehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.... Probably a miss for me. And with Hollywood ruining the rest of MotU next year with a live action film, my childhood destruction is now complete.

Hollywood ruined MotU back in the 80's with that horrible Dolph Lundren borderline S&M porn flick they released. Bar is set so god damn low for the new one it would be an accomplishment if they actually lowered it more.

Animation looks awful. I am fine with Flash/Toon Boom Animation than hand-drawn if it's used right. for explain Adventure time, Gravity Fall, Rick and Morty etc all use the same software but with a budget and passion which the new she-ra clearly lacks from the teaser.

hell Look at the new TMNT show. I can see great action scenes.



PS Toon Boom is better version of Flash.

Also I still disagree with finding this magical bad ass sword of power in a fucking bush with no apparent connection to Castle Grayskull. Overall this looks like what must be common play for YT cartoons these days. Banter, plot and characters fit the "lets hit all the check marks" type of show.

This what happens when you bring people from tumblr with no creative vision and trying to be the next Steven universe or Voltron. Mattel has such confidence with the show, the toys are not manufactured or produced by them and who green light this series is fired from the company.

I honestly don't see the issue with it at all. Its a kids show that looks like ts gonna have a decent story. I'd blame nostalgia for the hate, but the original shera was only on for two years, before most people on this board were even born lol.
